Ebara Hospital operated by Tokyo Metropolitan Health and Hospitals Corporation takes proactive actions to collaborate with local medical institutions, for example, by accepting referrals from other hospitals and clinics. We practice patient-centered medical care by ensuring informed consent in providing care, making referrals to other hospitals better suited for each patient’s medical condition, and disclosing clinical information. This is because we believe that medical care is the process of overcoming illnesses based on mutually cooperative relationship between patients and healthcare providers built on trust and equality.
